Apple will launch virtual reality glasses only at the developer conference in June

by time news

After planning to introduce its virtual reality glasses in April, Apple is once again pushing back the announcement date. According to Bloomberg, the current plan is to introduce the product, known as Reality Pro, for the first time at the WWDC developer conference, which is usually held in early June. This will only be an initial announcement, with an actual in-store launch only towards the end of this year.

The reasons for the postponement are related to various challenges in hardware and software development, which Apple is interested in solving before the official announcement. According to the rumors, Apple’s virtual reality glasses will be quite advanced, with the possibility of tracking hand features, an accurate and realistic 3D model of people with whom you talk in video calls, and excellent performance for games. However, the price is also expected to be terribly high for the first version, about 3,000 dollars.

Bloomberg repeats what they already know about the rest of the launches planned for this year. Apple is expected to announce a new model of the MacBook Air computer with a 15-inch display, a brand new model of the prestigious Mac Pro, and of course an update to the iPhone models, which are not lacking in rumors.

However, when it comes to the Apple Watch, the AirPods headphones and the iPad tablet of its kind, it seems that 2023 is going to be a relatively quiet year with specification updates for everything else, and no dramatic changes.
