When 48 hours have passed since Pedro Sánchez accepted his position before the King and the Constitution, we still do not officially know who the ministers of the new legislature that begins now will be.

The first weekend after Sánchez’s inauguration as President of the Government is once again marked by street protests against the amnesty that brought together 170,000 people in the Plaza de Cibeles this Saturday, according to the Government Delegation, and almost a million according to the organizers. After the events of this concentration promoted by hundreds of civil society organizations, a part of these attendees moved towards the Moncloa Palace where the agents prevented their passage and another part to the socialist headquarters of Ferraz.

The sixteenth day of protests on Ferraz Street has brought together 1,500 people and where tension has been increasing by the minute. Around 11:00 p.m. the National Police began charging the most radical hooded protesters who were in the front row, after they began to kick and overturn the fences that protected the PSOE headquarters in Ferraz.

Already made official as leader of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, must now face the challenge of defining what his style and that of his people will be, with changes that are expected to be minimal, but significant, both in his leadership and in the spokespersons of Congress and the Senate.
