Thirtieth anniversary of the attack of April 6, 1994 which changed history, in the presence of dignitaries, opening the way to justice in a now multipolar world.
Bujumbura, 6/04/2024 – Between 1989 and 2022the era of Unipolar American Neoliberal Globalization (GUAN) [1] dominated the world.
The drama of April 6, 1994 saw GUAN, through Kagame Paul , [2] current president of Rwanda, orchestrate the assassination of Burundian presidents Ntaryamira Cyprien and Rwandan presidents Habyarimana Juvénal. The missile attack on their plane landing in Kigali plunged the region into chaos, triggering the Rwandan genocide and marking the end of Belgian and French neocolonial influence in Rwanda, in favor of the influence of GUAN.
During the commemorative ceremonies of thirtieth anniversary of these assassinationsthis Saturday, in the presence of high personalities of the State and the family of the deceased, the Burundian presidential couple, HE Angéline Ndayubaha and Major General HE Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of Burundi, paid tribute to the victims, including members of the delegations and the crew of the plane. The tributes began with a mass in memory of President Ntaryamira at the Regina Mundi Cathedral.
In the context of the new multipolar world, Burundi is considering opening a trial to shed light on this attack and the death of its president and his companions.
