Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, called on the Libyan parties “to reach understanding and dialogue to resolve the Libyan crisis and maintain Libya’s security.”
Saleh said in a speech at the South Reconstruction Conference: “Armed groups in Tripoli are obstructing the smooth political transition process in Libya and threatening stability.”
Saleh renewed the call for “the necessity of evacuating the capital, Tripoli, from armed groups, and affirming the House of Representatives’ support for the efforts of the General Command aimed at achieving security, stability and development in the regions of southern Libya.”
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, pledged to “work on rebuilding and developing various regions of Libya during the coming period.”
Today, Thursday, the activities of the “South Reconstruction Conference” of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund were launched in the city of Sabha, in the presence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, Khalifa Haftar, and the Prime Minister assigned by the House of Representatives, Osama Hamad.
The conference focused on “development and reconstruction in the south of the country, improving living conditions and providing basic services to the people of the region.”
