With the release of the first part of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ directed by renowned director Mani Ratnam, the shooting of the film is nearing completion and post production work is in full swing.
While composing a song for the film, director Mani Ratnam posted a video of the scene on his social networking site AR Raghuvan.
He stated that the first was to sound the drums loudly and the second was that there should be a second wave of music when Emperor Ponni’s wealth came and that the drums should reach the pinnacle of music when he bought the crown and wore it. The video also shows drummer Sivamani listening intently to Mani Ratnam. Fans are amazed to see the style in which Mani Ratnam explains a song scene in this video.
