During these celebrations, Moroccan ambassadors underlined that His Majesty the King has launched, since His accession to the Throne, major reform projects in the political, economic, social, cultural and sporting fields, according to a global and integrated strategic vision. which tends to protect the Moroccan nation, preserve the national and territorial unity of Morocco, develop its infrastructure and increase its cultural influence at the regional, continental and international levels.
This reform dynamic, they added, was accompanied by the establishment of a new economic model based on ambitious human development plans, the creation of industrial free zones, the attraction of investments in the sectors of automotive and aeronautics and the strengthening of infrastructure, allowing the Kingdom to consolidate its position as a credible partner and economic and financial hub at the regional and international levels.
Regarding Morocco’s foreign policy, the ambassadors noted that, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty the King, the Kingdom has adopted a diplomatic approach based on clarity and ambition and has demonstrated total commitment in favor of dialogue, the political settlement of disputes, respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, the rejection of separatism and terrorism, the diversification of partnerships and the prevalence of the values of openness and tolerance and compromise.
They noted, in this sense, that Royal diplomacy has ensured broad international support for the national cause, stressing that the Moroccan plan for autonomy of the southern provinces garners solid support and unequivocal support from the majority of countries in the region. all continents, which confirms the seriousness and credibility of this plan as a lasting solution to this artificial regional dispute.
On this occasion, the Moroccan embassy in the United Arab Emirates organized a reception in Abu Dhabi attended by the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, ambassadors from Arab, African and foreign countries , as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Abu Dhabi.
Speaking during this ceremony, which was also attended by members of the Moroccan community residing in the Emirates and which started with the Moroccan and Emirati national anthems, the Ambassador of Morocco, Ahmed Tazi, highlighted the strong ties of brotherhood and friendship which have always united Morocco and the Emirates, founded by the late HM Hassan II and the late HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, and maintained by the leaders of the two countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He recalled, in this context, the official visit paid by the Sovereign to the United Arab Emirates, which was crowned by the signing of several cooperation agreements between the two countries in various fields.
Mr. Tazi also mentioned the memorandum of understanding, signed during this visit, by His Majesty the King and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressing the importance of preserving the bonds of fraternity, respect, solidarity and mutual support on which Moroccan-Emirati relations are based, while continuing to work to meet the challenges of renewal, innovation and openness that the two countries face.
In Doha, the Moroccan ambassador to Qatar, Mohamed Setri, also organized a reception on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Throne Day. This event was attended by members of the Qatari government, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Doha, personalities from the political, cultural and media world, as well as members of the Moroccan community residing in this country.
Speaking during this ceremony, which began with the national anthems of Morocco and Qatar, Mr. Setri emphasized the exceptional and privileged relations which unite the two countries, thanks to the fraternal ties between His Majesty the King Mohammed VI and HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and with regard to the historical ties between the two brother peoples, based on mutual esteem and respect.
Bilateral cooperation is constantly strengthened through consultation and exchange of visits by senior officials from both sides, he said, adding that the Kingdom’s celebration of the 25th anniversary of the accession to Throne of His Majesty the King, which coincides with the Morocco-Qatar cultural year, represents a happy coincidence and constitutes an opportunity to showcase parts of authentic Moroccan heritage through a rich program of events and activities.
A similar reception was organized in Amman by the Moroccan embassy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the presence of several personalities, including the Jordanian Minister of State, Wajih Tayeib Azaizeh, ambassadors, representatives of the diplomatic corps, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Jordan, parliamentarians and businessmen.
In a speech delivered on this occasion, the Moroccan Ambassador to Jordan, Fouad Akhrif, underlined that, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and HM King Abdullah II, relations between the Kingdoms of Morocco and of Jordan are solid and historic, based on strong bonds of fraternity, fruitful cooperation, effective solidarity, permanent coordination and consultation.
The two Heads of State gave a strong impetus to these relations and established them as a strategic partnership, the ambassador welcomed, affirming that the partnership between the two countries constitutes a model for Arab-Arab relations, both in terms of coordination and convergence of views on issues of common interest.
In Manama, the reception offered on the same occasion by the Moroccan ambassador to Bahrain, Mustapha Benkhiyi, saw the participation of ministers and senior officials of the Bahraini government, parliamentarians, political, economic and media figures, men of affairs from various sectors, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations, members of the diplomatic corps, as well as members of the Moroccan community residing in this Gulf country.
In a speech on this occasion, Mr. Benkhiyi underlined that Morocco and Bahrain maintain solid and distinguished relations based on the convergence of views, friendship, solidarity and loyalty, and the most notable manifestation of which was the recognition by Bahrain of the Moroccan nature of the Sahara and the opening of a Consulate General in Laâyoune.
The Moroccan ambassador to Kuwait, Ali Benaissa, in turn organized a reception on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the glorious Throne Day, in the presence of Anwar Ali Al Mudhaf, Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs and the investment, representing the Kuwaiti government, of several Sheikhs, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations, senior economic, media, intellectual and artistic personalities and members of the Moroccan community residing in Kuwait.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Benaissa welcomed the remarkable development experienced by Morocco’s relations with the Gulf countries over the last 25 years, the culmination of which was the establishment of a strategic partnership to build effective cooperation which reflects the attachment of His Majesty the King and His brother leaders of the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to develop their cooperation.
For his part, Mr. Al-Mudhaf highlighted, in a statement to the press, the solidity of relations between Kuwait and Morocco which share several economic interests, citing in this regard the development projects carried out in the Kingdom in infrastructure and financed by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
