Abu Dhabi: The meeting of the heads of state in Abu Dhabi created a new chapter of brotherhood and friendship between the Arab and Gulf countries. The leaders of UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan and Egypt have arrived for the brotherhood consultation meeting called by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The meeting, titled ‘Prosperity and Stability in the Region’, aims to consolidate and strengthen cooperation in various areas that contribute to development.

Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, King Abdullah II of Jordan and President of Egypt Abdul Fattah Sisi. Participated in the meeting convened by the UAE President.

The meeting took place in Abu Dhabi Saadiyat Island. A similar meeting was held in Egypt last year in August. But the head of state of Qatar and Oman was not in that meeting.
