Riyadh: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman strongly condemned the attack by the Israeli army that killed nine Palestinians in the Jenin refugee camp. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to take responsibility for ending the Israeli occupation and aggression and provide the necessary protection to civilians.

A spokesman for the Saudi Foreign Ministry said the violence perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces was a violation of international law. Wishing the injured a speedy recovery, the Ministry conveyed the nation’s sincere condolences and solidarity to the families of the victims, the Palestinian government and the people.

Israeli forces unleashed bloody violence on a crowded refugee camp in the northern Palestinian city of Jenin on Thursday. Nine Palestinians, including an old woman, were brutally killed. The Palestinian authorities also informed that the ambulance that came to rescue the shot victims was blocked by a battle tank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the incident was a mob attack and 20 people were wounded by Israeli fire. Four of them are in critical condition, Jenin hospital officials said.
