The Yemeni and Palestinian federations praised the high level of organization and hospitality of the Iraqi federation, which hosted the West Asian Youth Championship under 18 years, which concluded recently in the closed People’s Hall in Baghdad.
A statement by the Basketball Federation received by the (INA) today, Thursday, stated that “the President and members of the Yemeni Basketball Federation expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Iraqi Basketball Federation for the good reception and organization of the West Asian Youth Championship, stressing their support for Iraq in organizing the championships in Baghdad.”
For his part, the President of the Palestinian Basketball Federation, Ibrahim Habash, expressed his appreciation to the Basketball Federation for the excellent organization of the tournament, expressing his readiness to come to Iraq again on official or friendly occasions.
