Arafah Qutb will be led by Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al Issa

Makkah | Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al Issa will lead the Qutbuk of Arafa Sangam, which is an important ceremony of Hajj, at Masjid Dunnamirah. In this regard, the Ministry of Hajj informed that permission has been received from King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi ruler and Custodian of the Holy Shrines. The Arafa Qutuba is performed every year at Masjid Dunnamirah in commemoration of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) farewell speech in the 10th year of Hijra with more than one lakh followers.

Appointed as a member of the Council of Senior Scholars of Saudi Arabia on December 3, 2016, Al Issa holds a bachelor’s degree in comparative Islamic jurisprudence, a master’s degree and a doctorate in judicial studies. Member of Council of Senior Scholars and Secretary General of Muslim World League.

Specializing in Shariah, constitutional and administrative law, he has authored books and articles on Shariah and law and many intellectual topics. He has taught Shariah and law in Saudi universities and supervised several doctoral and master’s theses.
