Kochi: Actress Archana Kavi and her friends were allegedly mistreated by a police inspector while traveling in an auto at night, according to an internal investigation report. Inspector V.S. Mattancherry ACP recommended departmental action against Biju. The report of the internal investigation was handed over to the Kochi Commissioner.
Actress Archana Kavi and her friends had an accident while going to Fort Kochi in an auto from Kochi Ravipuram after 10.30 pm on Sunday. The actress revealed on social media that she had a bad experience.
The actress did not lodge a complaint but an internal investigation was underway into allegations that the policeman had misbehaved. According to Inspector VS Biju, the actress and her friends were not mistreated. The policeman had replied to the Mattancherry ACP in charge of the investigation that he had only sought routine information as part of the night patrol.
Archana Kavi told Manorama News that the policeman treated her harshly. A detailed investigation found that there was a fall on the part of the inspector. The report was received and departmental action will be taken on the basis of it. Nagaraju said.
