Yesterday, September 24, the balcony of an apartment in Arco caught fire. The causes of the fire are still unknown but, from an initial reconstruction of the facts, it seems that it started from a bin on the balcony and then spread to the wall, hitting the house’s insulation.
What is certain is that the report to the Arco volunteer firefighters arrived shortly after 10, from a woman who was returning home. Seeing the fire, the woman entered the apartment and, together with other residents, tried to put out the flames with buckets of water. When the firefighters arrived, the fire had spread along the wall. Therefore, it was necessary to cut a part of it and clean the coat, to ensure that the fire did not spread along the entire facade.
The Carabinieri also intervened on site to carry out the necessary investigations.
