Almost exactly 20 years ago, Sebastian Schoepp called my cell phone. I don’t remember how the journalist got my Spanish number. At that time I embarked on the adventure of founding a city magazine in Barcelona. Sebastian, who until recently was the political editor of the Süddeutsche Zeitung, offered me his help without expecting anything in return.
