“Dell Technologies announced that it has completed the acquisition of Cloudify,” the company said when asked for comment. “The deal allows Dell to continue to innovate our edge offerings.” Cloudify, which developed a platform for cloud integration and infrastructure automation, separated from the parent company GigaSpaces Technologies, when it became an independent company in 2017. Nati Shalom, the founder and CTO of Cloudify, was also a co-founder of GigaSpaces.

Dell established its R&D center in Israel in 2010 following the acquisition of Accent. Cloudify offers an open source cloud management platform designed to connect to any third-party cloud, device or automation tool and optimize network automation. The company’s headquarters are in Herzliya. Jefferies Investment Bank Exclusively advised Cloudify in negotiations with Dell.
