THE CHEKING PROCESS – According to a report by the European Environment Agency (EEA), 195,000 people have died due to extreme weather events since 1980 in Europe.
Here is a new consequence of global warming. This Wednesday, the European Environment Agency (EEA) estimated that some 195,000 people have died in Europe since 1980 due to extreme weather events, such as heat waves and floods. In February 2022, a previous report estimated 142,000 deaths for the period 1980-2020.
