Southern Railway has issued a new notification that special Diwali trains will be announced soon in Tamil Nadu. In this regard, the Southern Railway issued a message saying that while the launch ceremony of the monthly magazine Your Platform was held yesterday, this magazine was distributed free of charge to the passengers of the Double Tucker train in many trains in Tamil Nadu. Southern Railway said that steps will be taken to bring this magazine in languages including Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
Also, during the festive season, there will be a lot of crowding, so the ticket price of the platform has been increased in order to ensure smooth travel of the passengers. This price hike has come into effect from today. Southern Railway has said that Diwali special trains will be announced soon as per the demand while additional coaches have already been attached to many trains for Diwali, which has caused happiness among train passengers.
