In its balance of actions carried out in 2022, the Tax agency has published that last year it made 1.9 million visits and checks on taxpayer accounts, specifying that, of all of them, 700,000 went to self-employed workers and small businesses.

In 2023, the Agency will continue in its fight against fraud and errorsfor which it will continue with its control actions on the economic activities of the self-employed and small companies, which are updated and improved every year.

These checks are grouped this year into 8 typologies: control of economic activities, control of the application of regulations, formal verifications, patrimonial and corporate analysis, concealment of activity and abuse of corporate forms and information analysis actions.
