During his joint program on Radio 103FM with David Wertheim, Arel Sgal harshly attacked his co-presenter and told him “I hate broadcasting with you”.
During one of the interviews, the interviewee Lortheim said that he was satisfied with the performance of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Wertheim answered him: “Good, then you speak from a position.”
At this point the sergeant exploded at Wertheim while knocking on the table and told him: “You are the mother of the position. You support harming your people, harming the economy, your children. Shame, shame and disgrace. At the height of the Oslo attacks we did not dare, no one said to leave the country and damage the economy. Even during the disengagement, no one said such a thing.”

Afterwards, Major General Lortheim said: I am disgusted to broadcast with you”, and asked to end the interview: “I want to go to a commercial break, I want to drink water”.
Upon returning to the broadcast Segal apologized to Wertheim for his words, but Wertheim made it clear to him that his apology was not accepted.
