jpnn.comBANDUNG – Arema FC returned home with one point after holding Persib Bandung to a 1-1 draw in the 3rd week of the 2024/2025 League 1 match at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency, Sunday (25/8/2024).

Singo Edan managed to take the lead first through a goal scored by Dalberto Luan Belo in the 39th minute.

Arema also led the match in the first half and troubled Persib’s defense line.

Arema FC coach Joel Cornelli said that both teams displayed an interesting and good game.

“It was a good game, when the game was 0-0, both teams attacked each other. Until finally we lost full points,” said Joel.

Arema FC almost doubled their lead after threatening Persib’s goal guarded by Kevin Mendoza several times.

However, until the extra time, there was no additional goal and the score had to end in a draw. Joel considered the draw to be fair for both teams.

“But I believe that 1-1 is a fair result for both teams,” said the Brazilian coach.
