Montevideo: Argentina wins World Cup qualifier against Uruguay.

The 22nd season of the FIFA World Cup will take place next year (Nov. 21 – Dec. 18) in Doha, Qatar. A total of 32 teams from Qatar, Germany, Denmark and Brazil have so far qualified for the series.

Argentina and Uruguay clash in a qualifier for the South American team in Uruguay. Angel Di Maria scored in the 7th minute to give Argentina a 1-0 victory. Argentina’s Messi, who has recovered from a left knee injury, played 15 minutes in the match.

Argentina are in 2nd place with 28 points from 12 matches so far, 8 wins and 4 draws, brightening their place in the World Cup. The next two places are Ecuador (20 points) and Chile (16) respectively. In first place is Brazil (34).

England and Albania clash in the qualifying round for European teams in London. England won the match 5-0. England captain Harry Kane scored a hat trick (18, 33, 45 + 2nd minute).
