With Santiago Ese in the starting eleven, the Argentine national team will face Morocco in their debut at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Santiago Ese is expected to make his fourth official appearance with the Argentine U23 national team, as the 22-year-old midfielder from Olympiakos has been chosen by Javier Mascherano in the starting lineup of La Albiceleste for the opening match of the football tournament.
The opponent will be Morocco, with the match taking place at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium, home of Saint-Étienne. The game will be broadcast live at 16:00 on ERT3 and, of course, on the SPORT24 Matchcenter.
It is worth noting that Argentina is one of the favorites of the tournament, as Julián Álvarez and Nicolás Otamendi will be participating in the tournament.
The last time La Albiceleste won gold was in 2008 in Beijing, with players such as Kun Agüero and Lionel Messi.
