Argentine elections: Massa and Milei will compete in the second round, according to official results

The Argentine Minister of Economy Sergio Massa (center-left) obtained 35.99% of the votes in the first round of the presidential elections and will go to the second round with the ultraliberal and anti-system leader Javier Milei (30.44%), according to the scrutiny of 78.48% of the polling stations.

Massa, a 51-year-old lawyer and candidate for the Unión por la Patria coalition, improved the vote he obtained in the August primaries, when he got 27% against Milei who got 30%.
