Kerala Blasters have completed their first overseas signing. Apostolos Giannu, a Greek-Australian striker, was brought to the Blasters team.

Kochi: Argentine player Jorge Pereyra Diaz of Kerala Blasters has left the club. This has been officially released by Kerala Blasters. Diaz played 21 matches for the Blasters last season and scored eight goals. The player came to Blasters on a loan basis from Argentine club Atlético Platense.
Earlier, Kerala Blasters completed their first overseas signing. Apostolos Giannu, a Greek-Australian striker, was brought to the Blasters team. Apostolos plays as a striker. It must be observed that Apostolos was brought into the team in anticipation of Diaz leaving the club. The player joins Blasters from A League club Macarthur FC. The player will wear the yellow jersey till the 2023 season.
Macarthur scored three goals in 21 appearances for the club. The player made over 150 appearances for various Greek first division teams such as Kavala, PAOK, Ethnikos, Panionios and Asteris Tripoli, scoring 38 goals and 15 assists to his name.
