jpnn.com – Ari Bias’ attorney, Mario Pencawan, revealed that his client had filed a lawsuit over the alleged violation case with the Commercial Court.
The lawsuit was filed on September 9. 2024, and recorded in case number 92/Pdt.Sus-HKI/Cipta/2024/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst.
“We submitted it two days ago, today the case number has just come out,” said Mario when contacted by the media, Thursday (11/9) evening.
Mario explained that the case was first tried on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
The agenda for the first trial was the reading of the lawsuit regarding Agnez Mo’s rendition of the song Bilang Saja without permission from Ari Bias as the creator.
“The first hearing is on the 19th (September), Thursday,” he added.
Mario explained that the trial process would be slightly different from a typical civil lawsuit.
Because, this conference is related to intellectual property rights or copyright.
Ari Bias sued Agnez Mo at the Commercial Court, the first hearing took place on September 19, 2024.
