Adam Ariel Disappointed (Omri Stein)

Adam Ariel (27, 1.95) suffers from tenderness in his knee and will be absent from the upcoming games of the Israeli team in the World Cup qualifiers, against Poland and Estonia. Guy Goodes will have to make do without his talented junior forward, in games to be held next week. Tonight (Sunday) the team will hold a press conference at the Kvutzat Shlomo Hall.

Another player who will be absent from the Israeli squad is Gabi Chachashvili, who went to the summer league today, was released at his request and received the blessing of the road from the professional team. The one who was supposed to go to the summer league too but eventually stayed, is Yam Madar. In doing so, Madar is essentially securing his place on the squad for its next two games.

Those who will be at Goodes’ disposal and join the training of the Israeli team today are also John Dibert’ilomio, Tamir Blatt and Yuval Sussman, who will join Captain Gal Makal and the rest of the existing staff who have already begun training.
