THE Aris Makris and the Anna Maria Velli they were a couple for a long time, until some years ago they decided to separate for good.
The well-known actress and YouTuber has spoken many times about the abuse she suffered from her ex-partner, without ever naming the popular singer.
In one of the last videos she uploaded on her YouTube channel someone asked Anna Maria Vellis if the rumor is true that this man (said without names) is hanging out with a well-known youtuber/ex-girlfriend of hers. She confirmed that it is true with the comments getting “fire” and everyone writing that she is talking about Aris Makris.

After the dozens of comments received by the singer, he decided to publish a long post on social media and clarify for the first time what has happened. Aris Makris unequivocally emphasized that he is not “the abuser of Anna Maria Vellis” and that all that is written about him has the purpose of views. And he without mentioning the name of his ex-partner anywhere.

“In recent years, many people have associated my name with an unpleasant news story because someone, intentionally or not, has implied that I have behaved in an abusive manner. This has resulted in me receiving abusive messages from people who believe that this claim is true, having a problem at my job and ultimately myself, mentally getting tired of something I would never dare to think about, let alone do. For years now I refused to take a stand because I didn’t want to follow up on a rumor that initially didn’t name me, therefore didn’t accuse me directly, and that ultimately didn’t touch me, since it doesn’t correspond to reality.
To be clear even today I am not sure that this particular category applies to me. Nevertheless, its ghosts have reached me and the people I love and who love me, and I can no longer stay aloof.
I suggest, and I do not exclude myself from this, that we examine what we hear because unfortunately sacred and important values are lost and the voices that need to be heard are weakened. Values that, I believe, we should not bring to our own standards, but climb with effort and truth to theirs.”
Aris Makris became known through his participation in the boy band “Boise and Noise” and then, when the group disbanded, he followed a solo path. In 2019, he took over the presentation of the X-Factor backstage.
