3 field hospitals of Bangladesh Armed Forces and 19 medical teams, 1 army clinic are relentlessly providing medical services to flood victims. In the last one day (September 1), 9 thousand 857 people have been provided medical assistance through medical teams, field hospitals and army clinics consisting of expert doctors of the armed forces.

It is to be noted that the medical teams of the armed forces have provided emergency medical assistance to 42 thousand 113 people in the flood-affected areas to deal with the health crisis caused by the flood. Apart from this, the armed forces continued the rescue and relief distribution operations in the flood affected areas. As part of this, in the last 24 hours, a total of 48 flood victims have been rescued by the armed forces, 52,515 packets of food items and 450 cooked meals have been distributed among the flood victims. At the same time, 20 thousand pieces of clothing and 8 cartoon medicines were distributed by the Armed Forces Department. At this time, the armed forces conducted rescue and relief distribution activities in the flood-affected areas through 10 helicopter sorties.

Apart from this, civil mobile companies with the help of the armed forces are continuing to repair towers to enable mobile connectivity in flood-affected areas. A total of 34 camps including 30 Army, 2 Navy, 1 Air Force and 1 Coast Guard camps are currently deployed in the flood affected areas to deal with the flood situation.
