65-year-old Pantelei Panteleev, manager of the Tervel branch of Transmobil EOOD, which trades in products and technologies for military purposes, died in a brutal chain accident. It happened on July 11 near the village of Yastrebino in Antonovo municipality, Targovishte region.
A car with Sofia registration, driven by a 42-year-old woman, entered the oncoming traffic. She hit a van with a trailer attached. As a result of the impact, 65-year-old Panteleev, who was riding in the front right seat of the car, died on the spot. A 20-year-old woman was traveling in the back seat with serious injuries, according to information from the Ministry of the Interior.
Both drivers were seriously injured, as well as two men and one woman riding in the truck, reported the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Targovishte. The 20-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in Veliko Tarnovo and there was an idea to transport her to Sofia by helicopter, but the team decided that she would not survive the flight. The young woman was left for treatment in the intensive care unit of the hospital in Veliko Tarnovo.
Pantelei Panteleev managed the branch of “Transmobile” in Tervel, where the company has made over 20 million BGN investments. Shells for projectiles are produced there, which provides work for over 250 people not only from Tervel, but also from neighboring areas.
