Bangladesh Army conducted a special exercise at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Basically, the army has conducted this exercise to keep South Africa, which is going to visit Bangladesh, free from security concerns.

The South African cricket team is scheduled to visit Bangladesh to play two Tests in October. Meanwhile, yesterday, three representatives of the country came to Dhaka to monitor the security system. A special exercise of the army was held in their presence on Sunday.

Along with helicopter landing on the main field, South Africa and Bangladesh entered the dressing rooms of the team and ‘rescued the cricketers alive’ and quickly took them to safety. The 30-minute orchestrated play ended successfully there. It ended the military campaign successfully.

Bangladesh has given a clear message to the world through this 30-minute exercise, ‘There is no shortage of security here.’

Bangladesh has developed a flawless security system to provide security to the South African team. The army will also work with the law enforcement agencies throughout the series to avoid sabotage. In case of emergency, the army will come to the stadium within 30 minutes. Tomorrow Monday (September 23) the delegation is scheduled to go to Chittagong.

BCB has not yet announced the official schedule of the series. However, according to the proposed schedule, South Africa will enter Bangladesh on October 16. The first Test will start in Mirpur on October 21. The second Test will start in Chittagong on October 29. Both the matches are part of the ICC Test Championship.
