A violent assault in the Arna district has prompted a large-scale police investigation, with authorities continuing to search for the perpetrator early Monday morning. The incident, reported on Sunday evening at 10:26 PM, involved an individual subjected to violence outside their home, according to police officials.
On Sunday evening, at 10:26 PM, the West police district received notification of a violent attack occurring outside a residence in Arna. Officers arrived at the scene within 20 minutes, initiating an immediate response. The victim was subsequently transported by ambulance to Haukeland hospital for medical attention.
Another individual was present at the location and received follow-up care at the emergency department. A comprehensive search, utilizing both canine units and drone technology, was launched to locate the assailant, but proved unsuccessful. As a result, police established multiple checkpoints throughout the Stor-Bergen area overnight and into Monday. As of this reporting, no arrests have been made.
