Arrels del Vi de Sant Martí d’Empúries celebrates 15 years with the largest participation of Empordà wineries

the fair Roots of Wine which is celebrated in Sant Martí d’Empúries celebrates 15 years surpassing the record of Empordà wineries that participate. On the weekend of June 3 and 4, up to 30 large wineries will participate in this fair held in the pine forest next to Sant Martí d’Empúries. Despite the professional character of the Arrels del Vi fair, it is open to all types of public who can buy one entry for 25 euros and allows an open wine tasting. Over the course of Saturday and Sunday, more than a hundred references from the DO Empordà wineries will be offered. In addition, there will also be a taller familiar of painting with wine and a Silk Trio concert.

Coinciding with the presentation of the fair, the blind tasting was held this Monday to choose the winning wines of the fair. A dozen have participated in it sommeliers. In this competition, 75 bottles have participated that have been tasted blind, an absolute record within the 15 years that it has been held.
