In a message, spread through the X account of the FGJCDMX, Lara López said that the Chihuahua authorities intended to arrest the former president based on an internal document from the Attorney General’s Office in that state.

However, he explained that the arrest warrant had to be supplemented with the support and endorsement of the Special Investigations staff of the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office, who were not present.

For this reason, he said, he personally went to the site to confirm that the collaboration agreements between the country’s entities, signed in 2012, will be respected, which establish respect for the sovereignty of each state to execute arrest warrants.

DEMAND TO MARU CAMPOS
