Arrest of Palestinian Motorcycle Thief in Jerusalem District During War – Harel Station Police Activity

In the midst of the war: A Palestinian resident of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip was arrested tonight (between Wednesday and Thursday) while riding on a motorcycle stolen from the center of the country and making his way to the Jerusalem area.

As soon as the report was received, the police and security forces in the Jerusalem district sector were organized to locate the stolen vehicle and with the aim of thwarting its theft and transfer to the territories of Judea and Samaria and in the meantime, they were deployed on the traffic routes in their sector. After reaching Highway 1, the police located the scooter, slowed its travel to a stop and carried out the arrest of the rider. After a short search, hacking tools, gloves and other items were caught in his possession.

Checking the suspect’s identity revealed that he is a 27-year-old Palestinian resident of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip and without a legal driver’s license at all. The suspect who was arrested was transferred to the police station for questioning and the stolen motorcycle will be returned to its owner after its theft was thwarted as stated by the determined activity of the Harel station policemen in the Jerusalem district.
