The Criminal Investigation Department announced today, Sunday, the arrest of 4 suspects involved in committing murder and theft crimes.
The agency stated in a statement that following the receipt of information about a murder in the Central Police Station district in Tripoli, members of the Criminal Investigation Department’s Investigation Office, the Crime Scene Team and the Information Center moved to the scene of the incident and immediately began, in cooperation with the elements of Brigade (444), collecting information and conducting investigations that led to the arrest of the perpetrators of the crime, namely the first accused (M.G.M) and the second accused (R.A.D), who confessed to killing the victim (F.L.Y), aged 54 years.
Upon further investigation with them, the accused confessed to committing several crimes of stealing cars and shops in each of (Tarhuna, Mislata, and Al-Khums) with the participation of the third accused (A.A.W) and the fourth (Q.A.Q), who were arrested later. Upon investigation with them, they confessed to participating with the first and second accused in the theft operations, and they also participated in hiding and burning the car of the victim (F.L.Y).
