Arrest Warrant Issued for Katie Price After Failing to Appear in Bankruptcy Court

Scandal star Katie Price (46) was supposed to appear in court on Tuesday in connection with a bankruptcy – but did not show up.

Now a warrant has been issued for the arrest of the 46-year-old, according to BBC.

– It is, in my opinion, necessary to request that she be arrested. She has no acceptable reason for not attending today’s hearing. The reason for her absence is no longer relevant, explains the judge in the case, Catherine Burton.

It is Burton who has now issued the arrest warrant.

The former glamour model was declared personally bankrupt in 2019 due to unpaid debts, and again in March this year due to an unpaid tax bill of over £700,000. In October last year, HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) requested payment from Price, a claim she has not yet responded to.

In March, the 46-year-old also missed a hearing because she was “going through serious issues,” according to Sky News. The reason for her absence this time is not yet publicly known.

During a hearing in February, Price was ordered to pay 40 percent of her monthly income from OnlyFans to a guardian for the next three years in connection with the bankruptcy from 2019.
