Another person has been arrested in the Kallakurichi riots case based on the evidence of a video taken during the riots.
The mysterious death of a female student studying in a private school near Chinnasalem and the outbreak of violence in the protest demanding justice for that death shook Tamil Nadu. CBCID is investigating from various angles whether the student committed suicide or was murdered. Similarly, a separate investigation is being conducted in connection with the July 17 violence.
The mother of the student said that she had nothing to do with the violence. He also blamed the school administration for the violence. Similarly, the school administration informed that the student’s mother was also responsible for the violence.
Meanwhile, an important question was then put forward. How violence broke out in the protest for justice for the student’s death. If so many vehicles were set on fire, was this a planned riot? Many questions were raised. Most importantly, there was a complaint that the documents of the students in the school were burnt. The question was also put before how those who fought for justice for the death of the student would burn the student’s documents.
In this case, the police have now arrested a person who was caught on video of burning documents. The special investigation team has arrested Lakshathipathy from Chinnasalem area who set the documents on fire and put him in jail.
While 323 people have been arrested so far, Lakshadweep has been arrested on the basis of the video evidence taken during the arson.
