Man arrested in his absence on suspicion of murdering two 14-year-olds
A man in his 30s has been arrested in his absence on suspicion of murdering two 14-year-olds this summer.
The detention hearing was held in Södertörn district court on Monday and the man is suspected of, among other things, two murders and kidnapping, writes Svenska Dagbladet.
The one boy was found dead in Nynäshamn in July. The remains of the second boy were found in Upplands-Bro in August. Both boys had disappeared from the HVB home in Nyköping.
According to prosecutor Hanna Cardell, the man is believed to be abroad.
The police are continuing their investigation and are appealing to the public for any information that may lead to the man’s whereabouts. Any information should be reported to the authorities immediately.
