The trips to Ioannina for two schools ended with arrests, as five students and their accompanying teachers were arrested, while the parents of the minors also have adventures with the justice system.
The most serious incident concerns a group of four 16-year-old students of the Alexandria High School of Imathia, who resisted when police officers from the Juvenile Protection Office of the Ioannina Security Sub-Directorate tried to check them at around 10 pm on Sunday. In fact, one of them went so far as to punch a police officer before attempting to tackle him with his classmates, but they were immediately stopped and arrested for the offenses of violence against officers, insubordination and bodily harm.
In the second case, today after midnight, a 17-year-old student of the Lyceum Gerakas of Attica was arrested by police officers of the Immediate Action Department of Ioannina, for violating the legislation on drugs, after two improvised cigarettes, containing tobacco mixed with raw cannabis, were found in his possession and confiscated. , while in a search of a hotel room where he was staying, a plastic grater with cannabis residue was found and confiscated.
In both cases, the teachers in charge of the school trips, in which the minors participated, were arrested for neglect of supervision, while their parents, who were also arrested upon reaching Ioannina, are accused of the same crime.
The Ioannina Security Sub-Directorate initiated a preliminary investigation into the two cases.
