Arsenal remain at the top of the Premier League table after comfortably beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-2.

Arsenal ensured they remain top of the Premier League after matchday 35 after winning the London derby away to Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 to stay above Manchester City.

The “gunners” cleaned up the victory in the 1st part, with Pierre-Emile Hojbierg scoring an own goal and giving psychology to the visitors, who were closed in their field and waiting for the attacks of Tottenham. A Miki van de Veen goal disallowed by VAR for offside could have changed the game as the home side were in complete control with over 70% possession.

Arsenal’s response was immediate with Bukayo Saka in the 27th minute and Kai Havertz sealing victory for Mikel Arteta‘s side in the 38th minute. In the 2nd half the roles were reversed with Arsenal dominating but Tottenham scoring through Christian Romero in the 64th minute to restore hope for Angelos Postecoglou’s team. The next goal was too late though, with Heong-Min Son’s penalty in the 87th minute not making the difference.
