Arsenal and Brighton ended in a 1-1 draw at the Emirates and both halted their winning streaks. The Gunners played with ten men for almost the entire second half due to Declan Rice’s red card in the 49th minute.

Both Arsenal and Brighton had recorded two wins before Saturday (31/8) in the Premier League, but their winning streaks came to an end at the Emirates as they drew 1-1 on the 3rd matchday.

Mikel Arteta’s team took the lead in the 38th minute with Kai Havertz scoring after an assist from Saka. However, at the start of the second half (49′), the Gunners were reduced to ten players as Declan Rice was sent off with a second yellow card.

This was an opportunity that the Seagulls did not squander, equalizing in the 58th minute. Joao Pedro, who had also scored against Manchester United in the previous matchday, was the one who found the net and secured a point for Brighton.
