The Arsenal recorded their first victory of the preseason on Saturday night, defeating Manchester United 2-1 in a friendly match held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, part of the tour both teams are undertaking in the United States.
The match started better for the Red Devils, who opened the scoring after ten minutes through Rasmus Hojlund. However, just before the half-hour mark, Gabriel Jesus equalized (26′).
In the second half, with Fábio Vieira already on the field – he replaced Belgian Leandro Trossard at the 63rd minute – Gabriel Martinelli turned the score around and secured the victory for the Gunners (81′), who had previously drawn with Bournemouth in the last match.
