Before you despair about the current state of the world, you can always purchase a contemporary piece of art for your living room. How about a Napoleon painting by Ai Weiwei made of Lego bricks, or a canary in a cage or Islamic sermons recorded on K7 audio? From October 20 to 22, at Paris+ by Art Basel, the best galleries in the world, as well as some emerging gallery owners, are exhibiting works intended to capture the spirit of the times and/or the money of collectors at the ephemeral Grand Palais.
