He wrote film history and has died at the age of 88. In honor of Alain Delon, the Arte culture channel is changing its program.

After the death of French film star Alain Delon, the Franco-German cultural channel Arte has made some programming changes. As a tribute to the legendary actor, some good programs are now available online, the broadcaster announced.
These include the documentaries “Alain Delon, personally” (TV broadcast on Monday) and “Romy and Alain: Eternal Fiancés” (TV broadcast on Wednesday, August 21st, 4:10 pm) and the feature film “As big cat”, in which we can see Delon next to Jane Fonda (on TV on Monday evening).
On Monday there will be a themed evening about Alain Delon. At 8:15 pm the crime thriller “Silent as the Night” (director: Henri Verneuil) from 1963 was added to the lineup. Delon shines in this one alongside Jean Gabin.
It’s about Charles, an old crook, and Francis, a young daredevil, who plans a Rob Cannes casino.
