The proliferation of child sexual abuse images on the Internet could worsen if something is not done to control the artificial intelligence tools that generate “deepfake” photos. The UK-based Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) raised the alarm and said it had found nearly 3,000 AI-created abusive images online in violation of local law.
