Artistic evening in Casablanca on the occasion of the Throne Festival

The Casablanca public was treated, during this artistic evening, to an anthology of patriotic, religious and Arabic songs performed by renowned artists including Nadia Ayoub, Mohamed Benkania, Nadia Safi, Mohamed Hamdi and Mustapha Safi.

The evening’s ball, organized in coordination with the district of Sidi Belyout, was opened by the choir “Ahl El Fen” which presented the song “Ichi Ya Bladi” and a bouquet of Arabic songs from the repertoire of Abdelhalim Hafez, in addition to religious pieces.

During this show, the artists distinguished themselves by the interpretation of Moroccan songs of the good old days such as “Kifach Yamken Kalbi”, “Dak Al Ghafel”, “Bard Wskhoun”, “Fi Yaoum Wa Lila”. This evening was enhanced by rich and diverse poetry readings.

In a statement to M24, the continuous news channel of MAP, the president of the Association “Ahl El Fen”, Nadia Safi stressed that this evening comes to share with the Moroccan people the celebration of the 24th anniversary of the accession of HM King Mohammed VI to the throne of his glorious ancestors.

He added that the “Ahl El Fen” choir is composed of Moroccan singers and musicians from different generations, in addition to promising talents fascinated by Moroccan and Arabic songs.

For his part, the artist Mohamed Benkania, singer and researcher in musicology, said he was happy to take part in this show, organized as part of the celebration of the anniversary of the accession of HM King Mohammed VI to the throne of his glorious ancestors.

And to emphasize that on this occasion, a bouquet of patriotic songs were performed including the song “Nadini Ya Maliki” by the artist Ismaël Ahmed and whose lyrics and composition were the work respectively of the lyricist and poet Hammadi Tounsi and the composer Abdelkader Rachdi.
