The OTT release of Yanai, directed by Hari and starring Arun Vijay, has been announced. The theatrical release of the film was on July 1, with emphasis on action scenes. The film will be released OTT through leading platform Zee 5. It will hit OTT on August 19.
This is a successful movie in theatres. This mass film set in a rural setting was also hailed as director Hari’s comeback film. A single shot action sequence featuring Arun Vijay was the talk of the town among cinephiles. GV Prakash Kumar’s music also won the attention of the audience. The song sung by Malayali Arya Dayal for the film was a hit before the release. The film is produced by Vedikaranpatti S Sakthivel under the banner of Drumsticks Productions.
Ramachandra Raju, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samudratkani, Rajesh, Radhika Sarathkumar, Aishwarya, Ammu Abhirami, Yogi Babu, Pugar, VIS Jayapalan, Bose Venkat, Sanjeev Venkat, Thalaivasal Vijay, Rama, Imman Annachi, Nakalites Chandrakumar, OAK Sundar , Snehan, Gangai Amaran, Srividya etc. played other characters. The name of the character played by Arun Vijay is Ravichandran.
Cinematography by S Gopinath, Editing by Anthony, Production Executives MS Murugaraj, Chinna R Rajendran, Distribution by KKR Cinemas. The film, made on a budget of 15 crores, collected more than 40 crores.
