jpnn.comJAKARTA – PT Arutmin Indonesia (Arutmin) launched the SILANGKA (Rare Animal Report Information System) application to coincide with World Environment Day 2024 some time ago, as well as socialization to stakeholders at Dugan Camp.

This Android-based application functions to increase participation and make it easier for people to identify the presence of rare animals around them.

In this socialization, participants consisting of conservation groups, students, village officials, NGOs, and social media activists were given an understanding of how to download and use the SILANGKA application.

It is hoped that they can spread this application to people around them so that more people can use the application for the preservation of endangered animals.

“The launch of the SILANGKA application is an innovative step in the digital era, which is expected to increase public participation and concern for environmental sustainability, especially rare animals around them,” said Ahmad Juaeni – Senakin Mine & NPLCT Manager.

Ahmad said that from the start Arutmin had a big commitment to preserving biodiversity.

“Collaboration is carried out with many parties so that this program can run smoothly, effectively and successfully,” he said.

Arutmin carries out biodiversity conservation in the Senakin Mine area located in Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan.
