Tanveer Hasan said that the movie is about the life and love story of middle class and lower middle class people. This is why it is named ‘middle class’. But this is the censor’s objection. Censor board members asked to change the name of the movie.

There is the first condition to change the name. Apart from this, it has also been said that excessive use of the word ‘middle class’ in movies should be reduced. The scene of twirling shoelace around the neck and the flag hoisting scene in rural Shalis should be omitted. Irrelevant dialogue about Bangabandhu should be cut. Condom use should be symbolic, smoking and drinking scenes should be shown appropriately.
In this context, the producer said, I have changed everything except the name. If you change the name, the movie will end. Based on the name, its story, construction. Now if the name is not there, then the whole movie will lose its appeal.’
After that, Tanveer applied again on March 4 after making additions and deductions according to the notice. He requested to retain the name there.
Tanveer said that the name has been registered from the copyright board before the production of the film. That’s why the movie script and fee have to be submitted. The Copyright Board did not ask to change the name.
He also said that it is also a question whether there is a separate law to overturn the permission of one institution of the government. Those concerned need to find out what it is if there is.
