As the Israeli war on Gaza and the West Bank continues, a young Palestinian man carried out a heroic operation south of occupied Jerusalem, which resulted in the injury of an occupation soldier, in an operation considered the second in a few days.

Palestinian media reported that “a young man carried out a stabbing attack at one of the occupation checkpoints south of Jerusalem, which led to the injury of a female soldier before the young man was killed by Israeli army bullets.”

Last Sunday, a Palestinian was killed by Israeli army gunfire after carrying out a heroic operation in Tel Aviv that resulted in the killing of two Israeli settlers and the wounding of others.

In the context, and in conjunction with its ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continued to storm cities and towns in the West Bank, where they stormed the city of Jenin and killed a group of Palestinians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that 4 people were killed and 3 others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted two vehicles in the eastern neighborhood of the city of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said, “Our teams in Jenin are dealing with a very critical injury. The heart and lungs of a 15-year-old child are being resuscitated as a result of shelling in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin. He is being transferred to the hospital.”

She pointed out that “the Israeli occupation forces are firing live bullets at ambulances to prevent them from reaching the targeted site in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin.”

Yesterday, two Palestinians were killed and others were injured by Israeli gunfire in the city of Tubas in the West Bank. Thus, the death toll in the West Bank since October 7th has risen to 604 dead and about 5,400 injured.

In Gaza, the Israeli army continues its raids on different areas of the Gaza Strip, as its war continues for the 305th consecutive day, with the number of war dead rising to more than 39,623 dead and 91,469 wounded.
