Dancer and actress Asha Sarath with a mobile app to teach 21 arts including dance for Rs 80 per month. Prana Asha Sarath Cultural Center will launch mobile app on Saturday. Popularize the arts and provide opportunities for all interested people to learn the arts at a low cost. Asha Sarath is launching a new mobile app with this aim in mind.

Fees of only 80 rupees per month for study. Less than Rs.1000 per annum. Asha Sarath will teach free of cost to those who cannot pay the fee. Beginners and trained alike can get classes from the app. The first stage is the recorded classes. Launched by Asha Sarath Cultural Center in collaboration with Prana Insight, the app will be available on both Android and Apple platforms. The presentation of the app will be held in Kochi on Saturday.

‘Ponniyin Selvan’, directed by Mani Ratnam, is a much awaited film by South Indian cinema lovers. The film is based on the famous historical novel by the legendary writer Kalki. The teaser of the film which was released a few days ago was well received. ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is in trouble after the release of the teaser. The lawyer has sent a notice to Mani Ratnam and actor Vikram, accusing them of misrepresenting the Chola kings.

The petition was filed by a lawyer named Selvam. Aditya Karikalan, the Chola king, did not wear tilakakuri on his forehead. But this character, played by Vikram, is a Tilak man. Selvam said in the petition that such additions would give the people a false impression of the Chola kings.

He also demands that a special screening be held before the theatrical release to see if the film has distorted history. But neither the director nor Vikram came to the scene with an explanation in the notice. The first part of ‘Ponniyin Selva’ will be released on 30th September 2022.

Amazon Prime has already acquired the OTT rights of the film. The streaming rights were sold for 125 crores. Streaming on Amazon will start after the theatrical release. The film has a large cast of stars. Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Rahman, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Lal, Vikram Prabhu, Parthipan, Babu Antony, Ashwin Kakumanu, Riaz Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Shobhita Dulipala, Jayachitra and other actors are present in the film. AR Rahman is the music director. Cinematography by Ravi Varman. Art direction is by Thota Dharani and Wasim Khan. Editing by Sreekar Prasad, Action Choreography by Shyam Kaushal, Dance Direction by Brinda and Costume Design by Eka Lakhani.
